Chris Porsz – is presenting his talk this evening, entitled ‘Seize the Moment”.
Peterborough based Chris describes himself as a “Retired paramedic, street photographer and author of eleven photography books”. His talk will cover the story to hell and back, of his mother, a holocaust survivor from Warsaw and father a Polish paratrooper at Arnhem.
It will include his unique books ‘Reunions’ and ‘Reunions 2’ comprising the same people, same place, decades later. ‘Just Be Kind’ covers his 47 years in the NHS. ‘Streets of America’ an 80 day coast to coast journey. His funny dog books ‘Barking!’ and ‘Barking 2!’. ‘Street Dreams’ images from European capitals
A sneak preview, out in October, of his latest book Click!. 50 years ago he hitched hiked from Lands End to John o’ Groats in ten days with his late wife Lesley and in 2025 he repeated the journey.
