On March 18 we are holding a Club Future Planning Meeting
We are asking all members to attend: new members, longer term members, people who haven’t come to anything for ages and lapsed members. (There will be no charge for the evening.)
Our aim is to get ideas about what you think we can do to:
- Attract new members
- Ensure more new members stay
- Create a club for the future that really fits the needs and interests of existing and future members.
Too many camera clubs are dwindling in membership numbers and that membership is increasingly older. Perhaps it’s time that we as club members discuss whether we need to make some changes in what we do and how we do it.
We have planned an ideas-generating evening.
Tables will be set up around the hall, each looking at different club activities, and people will move round in small groups so we can make sure everyone’s voice is heard. From the feedback and ideas we gather, we’ll create an action group, create plans and allow changes to happen.
