Mark presented a great deal of his work to us last year, mostly his commercial work. He didn’t have time to show us the full extent of portfolio. So this year we have been pleased to re-invite him to give us more of his personal work .
He has been shooting professionally since the mid 1980s and his later work features many genres – including photojournalism, street photography, and more recently still life images of flowers.

Based in London, Mark York is represented by the Alamy agency for press syndication. His interiors feature work is published in books, magazines and periodicals worldwide. Clients include: AD France, AD Italia, AD Russia, A+U (Japan), American Apparel, Associated Newspapers, Elle magazine, House & Garden, Nike (Europe), The Rough Guides, The Sunday Times, Thomson Holidays.
Mark is a recipient of an Association of Photographers Merit Award for his photograph of ‘The Card Players, Sedile Dominova’, which was exhibited at the Noorderlicht Photography Festival in The Netherlands. His photography has also been exhibited at The Association of Photographers Gallery, The Ingo Fincke Gallery, and The Saatchi Gallery in London
