At Warnham Nature Reserve, Warnham Road, Horsham, RH12 2RA.

Meet at 09:45 hours in the car park at Warnham.
No need to book, just turn up on the day – new members welcome.
We will be photographing wild birds out in the open and from inside hides.
Whilst spotting wildlife is never guaranteed, we hope to see waterbirds including great crested grebe, grey heron, cormorants, Egyptian geese, coots and common terns with their chicks. We should also see woodland birds including blackcap, whitethroat, tits, chiffchaff and great spotted woodpecker. With luck we may also spot reed warblers and kingfishers.
There is also the chance to do some macro photography, as there should be some dragonflies and butterflies around too.
Instruction, if needed, and bird identification can be provided.
It costs £4:20 per person to enter the reserve. There are toilets and a café on site. Please note that cash is not accepted at the reserve.
I suggest a few things to bring along – camera, lens (ideally 400mm or longer if you have it), teleconverter, tripod (or monopod) and mount, or bean bag, macro lens, sunglasses, binoculars, credit card.
