If you have a passion for photography then we invite you to try our club’s activities and meet our members.
Membership can begin at anytime during the year. However during the summer we invite you to join as a Summer Trial Member which allows you to participate in nearly all of our summer events free of charge, plus the further bonus of our standard Trial Membership when club meetings reconvene in September.
In September, when the club’s meetings reconvene, your Trial-Membership then allows you to attend:
- Two club meetings, held on Tuesdays at Hove Methodist Church Hall
- Plus one New Members Group meeting, held on Thursdays at the English Language Centre
At the end of you trial membership you can either join our club or, if you are still undecided, attend some of our other events at a cost of £5 per event. These are mainly restricted to talks and do not include members evenings nor New Member Group evenings. However, payments of these will be refunded up to a maximum of £10 if you decide to join our club at a later date.

Skill level is not important, your interest in photography is all that is required. The same applies to equipment. Any camera is suitable: iPhones, Retro, modern digital. Equipment does not make a photograph – it’s how it is used that is important.
Camera clubs are for sharing and developing skills, they always have been since they first began in 1885. Ours was founded in 1891 and we have both a large and diverse membership.
