Requesting content to be added to the website
This page gives you opportunity to request new content to be added to the website by providing appropriate templates.
By using the relevant templates below, you can request new items to be added to the calendar, amendments to the exhibitions or new members group page and more. Using the templates provided below gives you the ability to provide accurate content to the web team which means your content is published faster. Information will not be added to the website unless the correct template has been used.
In the tabs below, you will find a link to download the relevant template. All templates are complete with instructions, either integral to the template or as a separate document included with the download. Some templates downloads are a single document and some are a zip file containing all the relevant files you need.
Note that if you don’t complete the templates correctly or select the wrong one, it will be returned to you for reformatting. The website team receive multiple requests for changes to the website which is very time consuming, so it is not possible for the team to rewrite or reformat content to make it fit. This makes it general faster and more efficient to populate the website.
Below is a link to download the Excel template for events that need to be added to the website calendar (programme of events).
This template must be used for any single or multiple events to be added.
The Excel template contains 2 ‘tabs’. One is the template itself and the other tab contains brief instructions on how to use the template.
Once the template has been populated, send the completed template to the web.team@bhcc-online.org, for upload.

A template to enable you to submit items to the club news/blog.
As a committee member or club official, it’s good for other club members to know a little about us – it makes a good conversation starter for one thing! So the ‘About, Committee & Officials’ page showing our photos now has options for a bio.
This bio can be anything you like, maybe you want to share what you do photographically, are you a hobbyist or professional, what genres do you like, how long have you been at the club, gear you have/use, other roles you had in the club, etc. No need to give away trade secrets but let’s indicate we are a good diverse bunch.
To have a bio added, send an email containing between 2 and 4 paragraphs of text web.team@bhcc-online.org. Do not use any specific fonts or formats in the email body, just use plain text.
